It was 2008 I was in year seven and my year group were going on a camp down south near waroona, the camp was called forest edge camp. We left school at eight o clock, and it took about two hours to get there from school on a bus. When everyone got to the camp we were all very exited to get into our groups and ready to go off and do our group things. We went and got to see our rooms I was in a room with three other mates. When we were all ready to go we all assembled at the main room, we got into our camping groups and we all met our camp leaders. The first thing we did was orienteering, we went off to walk deep into the bush. It was a while until we stopped at this big waterfall it was very nice and refreshing and cold, which was good because it was a very hot day. There where also challenges along the way for eg. We had to cross a freezing freezing cold creek wich was about knee deeps really cold. We had to walk across a log to cross is we slipped we fell into the water. After we all crossed we walked through a cow padlock the cows where massive and they also had there baby’s which were huge at the time. We finally reach our destination and we stopped at a huge area with mud everywhere and the mud wasn’t just mud it was mixed in with the cow poo. We didn’t know that until the end though. The camp leader sat us all down and said guys the next group is coming soon so every one get ready with your mud and when I say go you through the mud at them. S we saw the group and when they were close enough the cmp leader yelled out now and we were off the mdfight went on for about an hour b4 everyone was getting tired. So we walked on back to the camp site it took about another hour. But it was all great fun. The wind pik up as we were walking and because everyone was wet and muddy we all started to get really cold so we kept moving it was about seven pm when we got back to the camp site everyone rushed to the showers but if you got in last you would get the cold shower wich was horrible.

The next day the groups and I went to an amazing dam and did some canoueing, and raft building. First we did some raft build we had to use what we had and build a raft and get your grump to float on it. We built the raft and we all got on and out in the water, when the raft got to about the middle of the dam wich was a really far ay out, I that I would of been funny to un tie the rope, so I did, the raft fell apart and everyone was in the water. And it was about seven in the morning so the water was freezing cold. Everyone was swimming back into shore. Then we got a partner and grabbed a canu and we all went out to the dam with our partners and went a bit down to the dam when we finished we all got back onto the bus and we were asleep b4 we knew it we hit the showers and were having dinner and we were into our beds fast asleep.
